The 2026 sneaker edit
Finding authentic luxury sneakers for men in India shouldn't feel like a gamble. We built this edit of premium sneakers for men around the details that actually dictate a shoe's lifespan: high-grade leather, superior stitching, and replaceable soles. Featuring verified silhouettes from Louis Vuitton, every pair on this page is backed by upfront INR pricing, honest photography, and a 30-day return policy. Stop paying for just the hype, and start investing in the build..
Below is how we judge premium sneakers for men in 2026, the two pairs in stock and priced in INR right now, and the sizing and care detail that decides whether you enjoy them. If you are buying premium sneakers for men in India for the first time, read the material notes before anything else. They will save you more than any brand comparison.
If you only read one part of this page, read this.

Same silhouette, two colorways, two reference codes. The LV Trainer is a low-top built on a vintage basketball shape, originally designed by Virgil Abloh, with calf leather panels over a padded collar and a rubber outsole carrying the Monogram Flower motif. The upper is assembled from more than a hundred pieces, which is why the stitching runs where it does.

The two pairs are the same shoe in different clothes, so the decision comes down to how much the colorway matters to you and how much you want to spend. Marine is the quieter of the two, and cheaper by ₹19,000. Blue reads more clearly as an LV Trainer from across a room.

If this is your first pair at this level, we would point you at Marine. It works with more of what you already own and the saving is real. Take Blue if you want the shoe to be the thing people notice.
Five things, in this order. Everything else is preference.
Full grain and grained calf leather keep their shape and take on a patina. Corrected grain has been sanded and sprayed, so it looks flawless in year one and cracks along the flex point in year two. Press a thumb into the toe box. Good leather creases and recovers. Coated leather stays dented.
A cup sole, stitched or cleanly cemented, can be replaced by a competent cobbler in most Indian metros. A molded sole with the upper bonded straight into it cannot. That one detail decides whether you own the pair for two years or ten.
Leather or textile lining, and a removable insock. Bonded synthetic lining fails first, usually behind the heel where you cannot see it until it starts eating your socks. A removable insock also means the pair can dry properly after monsoon.
Italian low-tops tend to be cut narrow through the waist. Basketball-derived shapes like the LV Trainer are cut generous and often run half a size long. Neither is better. It has to match your foot, which is why we would rather talk sizing before we ship anything.
Stated return window, stated price, stated reference code. Both pairs above ship free with 30 days, and the code is printed on the listing so you can check exactly what you are getting.
We built Vellora around a simple rule for buying branded shoes online in India: if we would not buy it ourselves from the listing alone, we do not put it up. Every pair here carries its reference code, its INR price with nothing added at checkout, and a stated 30 day return window before you commit to anything.
We photograph the actual pair we are shipping, not the brand's own studio imagery. That means the outsole, the heel and the inside of the collar are shown as they really look, not as they look on a runway. If a detail is not visible in our photography, we have not hidden it. It simply has not been shot yet.
Both LV Trainer colorways above went through the same check before listing: reference code confirmed against the Louis Vuitton catalog, condition graded, and price set once and left alone.
White leather is unforgiving, which is also why it looks so good when it is kept right. Five steps, roughly twenty minutes, no machine involved. The same routine works on the calf leather panels of either pair above.
Laces out, insock out. Brush the dust off the upper and out of the seams with a dry soft brush before any moisture goes near the leather, otherwise you are just spreading grit around.
Smooth and grained leather takes a soft, slightly damp cloth. Suede and nubuck panels take a soft brush instead, and a crepe brush lifts surface marks. Hard rubbing burnishes the finish and leaves a shiny patch you cannot undo.
Cool, ventilated, out of direct sun. No hairdryer, no sunny balcony in May. Leave the insock out so the inside dries as well as the outside.
Once it is properly dry, work in a colorless cream and buff in small circles with a soft cloth. Colorless matters. Tinted cream on white leather goes gray at the creases.
Felt pouches, cool and dry. Keep water, anything with alcohol in it, oils and abrasive cleaners away from the upper. Most ruined pairs we see were ruined by a cleaning product, not by wear.
Indian sizing tracks UK sizing, so your Indian size is usually your UK size. EU is the number printed inside the shoe. Measure your longest foot flat against a wall in the evening, when feet are at their largest, and work from centimeters.
| Foot length | UK / India | EU | US men |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25.0 cm | 6.5 | 40 | 7.5 |
| 25.7 cm | 7.5 | 41 | 8.5 |
| 26.3 cm | 8 | 42 | 9 |
| 27.0 cm | 9 | 43 | 10 |
| 27.6 cm | 9.5 | 44 | 10.5 |
| 28.3 cm | 10.5 | 45 | 11.5 |
| 29.0 cm | 11 | 46 | 12 |
The LV Trainer sits on a basketball last and usually runs half a size long, so most buyers drop half from their normal EU size. Check the size in stock on the product page before you order. There is one pair per colorway, so there is no swapping later.
Material and construction, not branding. Grained or full grain calf leather on the upper, leather or textile lining rather than bonded synthetic, a cup sole that can be replaced, and a last shaped for feet rather than for photographs. Price follows those things. It does not create them.
Check four things before you pay. The price is in INR so the number does not move at checkout. The listing names the exact model, colorway and reference code. The return window has a written process behind it. And the photography shows the actual pair, including the outsole and the inside of the collar.
Laces out, dry brush first, then wipe smooth or grained leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Let it dry fully in a cool ventilated spot, then work in a colorless cream and buff in small circles. Soft brush for suede panels, crepe brush for surface marks. No alcohol, no oils, no abrasives, and never a washing machine.
They are sold in EU sizing, but Indian sizes track UK sizing closely, so a UK 9 is usually an Indian 9 and roughly an EU 43. The LV Trainer runs generous, so half a size down is common. Measure in centimeters and work from that.
Colorway and reference code. Blue is 1AJTQK at ₹1,51,000 and Marine is 1AJQLL at ₹1,32,000. Same low-top silhouette, both in stock, both shipping free with 30 day returns.
